Dr. Greg Hawthorne
Dr. Hawthorne grew up in Marion, Iowa. He earned his B.A. in Biology and Chemistry while playing football at the University of Northern Iowa. He completed his D.D.S. Degree from the University of Iowa in 2001 and began practicing in Ames, IA.
Dr. Hawthorne is married to his wife, Amy, and they have three children; Drew, Ava and Will. He enjoys time with his family, coaching youth sports and playing golf and basketball.
Dr. Hawthorne enjoys his work.
Dr. Adam Halbur
Dr. Halbur grew up in Ames, Iowa. He earned his B.S. in Biological Systems Engineering at Iowa State University. He earned his D.D.S. Degree from the University of Iowa in 2016.
Dr. Halbur is married to his wife, Kaysha. They have a son, Ethan and a daughter Anna. He enjoys spending time at the lake with his family, bicycling, and hunting.
Dr. Halbur enjoys working with all ages of patients.

Registered Dental Assistant & Receptionist
Jill has worked as a dental assistant with us since 1984.
Jill and her husband Todd, grew up in Nevada, Iowa where they still live. They have two boys; Taylor and Braydon. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and staying active with outdoor activities.
Monica Mehl
Registered Dental Assistant
Monica graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at Des Moines Community College in 2016. She grew up in Story City. Monica started working with the team at Main Street Dental right after her graduation in August of 2016.
She enjoys playing volleyball, spending time outside, relaxing with family and friends and SMILING 🙂

Kristy Kopaska
Dental Hygienist
Kristy has been with Main Street Dental since April of 2017. She started her career in dentistry as an assistant in 2000 and graduated the DMACC dental hygiene program in 2007.
She and her husband Jeff have 3 girls; Alexa, Cassie and Brianna.
Mari Johnson
Dental Hygienist
Mari Johnson is a Dental Hygienist with the Main Street Dental team. She started with this illustrious group in February 1993. Mari grew up in Ames as did her husband, Jeff. They are proud graduates of Ames High School. Mari graduated from the DMACC Dental Hygiene Program.
Mari and Jeff have 3 children: Holly, Jaclyn and Ethan.
They are big fans of ISU football and men’s and women’s basketball.
Rachael Kobliska
Dental Hygienist
Rachael grew up in Oskaloosa, Iowa. She attended UNI her first year of college. She completed the Hawkeye Community College Dental Hygiene program in May of 2006. She has been employed with Main Street Dental since November 2006.
Rachael is married to her high school sweetheart, Jon, and they have a son named Mason. She enjoys being outdoors, watching movies and spending time with her family.
Rachael enjoys her profession and finds it rewarding to contribute to healthy smiles.
Lisa Dellachiesa
Office Manager
Lisa started working here in 1994. She earned her certificate in the Administrative Assistant Program from Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge.
Lisa has two boys; Zack & Tye. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
